Can a small UVA imaging rig show whether a skin treatment is working before I can see the result?
Problem
For the past eight years, skincare has mostly been guesswork for me. Accutane is the only treatment I can say worked. With everything else, I cannot tell whether it helped or my skin changed for some other reason. I want an earlier way to see whether a treatment is changing follicular activity.
Current test
Under UVA light, follicles may fluoresce differently before a change is obvious in white light. I am testing whether that signal repeats with fixed distance, angle, light, and exposure.
